Central Australia is a
different world. Alice Springs is the main city and feels like the
outback although it's a good size and has fun bars, restaurants and
scenery. Plenty of Aboriginal culture and population.
Lots to see but you'll
need a car or tour as the main sites to see are far apart. Uluru (Ayer's
Rock) and Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) have to be seen to be believed and are
part of one National Park. Another must see if you have time.
